About DentaFund
What is DentaFund?
DentaFund is an independent dental financing information site. It explains dental payment options, dental credit, dental loans, denied financing, payment-plan math, and questions to ask before applying.
Is DentaFund a lender or dental clinic?
No. DentaFund is not a lender, broker, dental clinic, insurer, credit-repair company, approval service, or treatment provider.
Does DentaFund arrange dental treatment?
No. DentaFund does not book appointments, arrange treatment, diagnose dental conditions, or recommend a specific clinical treatment.
Who reviews DentaFund content?
DentaFund articles are written and source-reviewed by Harvey Brooks, Senior Financial Editor. Source review means checking public lender, clinic, government, and dental-industry sources where available.
Dental financing and credit
What is dental financing?
Dental financing means paying dental treatment costs over time through a healthcare credit card, dental loan, installment product, clinic payment plan, in-house plan, down payment, or staged-care arrangement.
What is dental credit?
Dental credit is a broad term for credit used to pay dental costs. It may include healthcare credit cards, dental credit cards, dental loans, clinic financing, or installment payment products.
Are dental loans different from dental credit cards?
Usually, yes. Dental loans are commonly installment loans with a set term, while dental credit cards can include promotional or deferred-interest terms. APR, fees, term, and total repayment matter more than the label.
Can I get dental financing with bad credit?
Some people with bad credit may still have routes, but approval is not guaranteed. The realistic path depends on quote size, clinic options, income signals, credit file, down payment, and whether care can be staged.
What is no-credit-check dental financing?
No-credit-check dental financing can mean very different things. It may refer to a clinic payment plan, discount arrangement, soft-pull product, or high-cost option. Always ask whether there is a hard pull, APR, fees, and total repayment.
Denied applications
What should I do if CareCredit denied me?
Read the denial notice first. Ask the clinic whether the result was a full denial, partial approval, pending review, or approval for less than the treatment amount. Then compare other accepted routes before applying again.
What should I do if Cherry or Sunbit denied me?
Ask whether the issue was quote size, identity, credit file, debt load, clinic policy, or affordability. Soft-pull products can still decline applicants, and repeating applications without changing the facts may not help.
Does a dental financing denial mean I cannot get treatment?
Not always. It may mean the full quote is too high, the first product was not a fit, or the clinic's payment menu is limited. Ask whether urgent treatment can be separated from the full plan.
Should I apply to several dental lenders after a denial?
Usually not before understanding why the first application failed. Repeated applications can create more problems if the quote size, credit issue, or monthly budget has not changed.
Tools, forms, and privacy
Does DentaFund's calculator check my credit?
No. The calculator estimates payment math only. It does not check credit, approve financing, contact clinics, or submit an application.
What happens if I submit the path-check form?
DentaFund stores the submitted details, consent record, classification, score, and delivery log in Supabase. Internal DentaFund notifications are sent to the DentaFund inbox route.
What information should I not send to DentaFund?
Do not send SSNs, dates of birth, bank logins, full account numbers, X-rays, medical records, insurance cards, or other sensitive documents.
Can DentaFund share my information with a clinic?
DentaFund should not share a lead with a clinic or partner unless the page shows appropriate consent language and the process has been reviewed for the relevant use case.
How do I contact DentaFund?
Use hello@dentafund.com for general questions, corrections, source suggestions, or partnership inquiries.
